The Author

Natalie Barbara Hamann is an author and educator based in Kalmar, Sweden. Her fiction moves between the ordinary and the extraordinary, leaving room for imperfect people, layered realities and quiet discovery.

She grew up with a corgi named Maximiliane. Her affection, however, belongs to animals of every kind—and she has no intention of hiding their place in her stories.
